About the Authors

My name’s Russ Crowley, and my co-author is Duangta Mondi. I first came to Thailand at the beginning of 2008. I came back the following year to do some scuba diving courses and look into investing into a dive centre and that is when I met Duangta.

We’re the authors of four books to help people learn the Thai language, though the fourth book is just a very small offering (18 pages), and serves to just help you learn the Thai days of the week – and the new application, The Learn Thai Alphabet Application.

I’m currently studying for my BA in English Language at Ramkamhaeng University in Bangkok; Duangta is studying for her Master’s degree in English Language at Chulalongkorn University, also in Bangkok. She works as an English teacher at a state school in Surin Province, NE Thailand.

We’re currently working on other projects, but with work and study commitments, these are taking a little longer than initially anticipated.
